Witch Trials 1692 Sites Tour
Salem
Several artifacts relevant to the witch hunt can be found in
a small case in the office of the Clerk of Court. These include
the 1692 seal of Essex County, used to legalize documents pertaining
to the witchcraft, and several straight pins, admitted as evidence
in the trials and said to have been used by the accused to prick
their victims. |
